Video Player Media students from South Thames College worked with Media students from Wandsworth CLC to create music videos to accompany the music student’s tracks. The CLC students visited South Thames College every Friday and worked with a National Diploma student as their mentor. The music produced had an anti gun and knife crime message so the video brief was to get this message across. Three songs were chosen and the music producers/ artists were consulted throughout the process. Working collaboratively the Media students completed the entire process: pre - production, production and post – production.
The First playlist has a selection of examples that show the range of styles and efforts made by the students during this collaborative project.
The second playlist contains all films produced by the Wandsworth CLC BTEC Media students. Planning work and preparation was vital to the successful outcomes. Here is a selection of exemplar work that formed discussion and collaboration between the different sets of students.
The third playlist contains the three winning music videos. Congratulations to all involved!
