The lifewise/ molenet project has been an exciting opportunity to explore issues that are relevant to our learners and to introduce mobile learning into the classroom. The opportunity for cross college/ school collaboration has broadened learner’s horizons and given them a real world experience; especially relevant to learners from the creative industries.

For staff it has provided opportunities for sharing of good practice between different areas and different establishments. Since the project began it has been important that all work learners produced could be used for assessment and that tasks were informed by the curriculum.Each area (music, media, performing arts, business, art and design and health and social care) was asked to write a brief for their learners explaining the project and developing tasks that met learning outcomes and could be clearly assessed within the current framework
